In June 2010 the original members of Ricochet reformed. Better still they are writing again and already have been in the studio and recorded a new single. 

Midas Light has achieved critical acclaim from many followers of NWOBHM, however the new single 'The Blue Eyed Beggar and the Teenage Captain' is a great follow up to  the old classic. It's like the guys haven't missed a beat in the 30 years they have been apart.

The chemistry, their sound and the unique feel of Ricochet is as fresh as it always was. In fact we would go as far as to say we are about to launch the second wave of NWOBHM. Many of the bands from those days in the late seventies and early eighties are getting back together and performing again. NWOBHM has had such an influence on rock music today. Can it influence the next generation as well?

Ricochet don't expect to go on any tours in the near future as we are writing a new album, but we do want to play some rock festivals in Europe...if anyone is of course interested.
